The spare tire carrier has to go! The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! mounts to the brackets in this photo. At least the hole in the old carrier just does not matter anymore. Good riddance.

So no spare then. There really is no other place for it. What am I supposed to do, bungy-cord a spare to the little decorative luggage rack? I really don't think that will work. Perhaps a can of Fix-a-flat? I guess it will at least fit in the cubby area behind the passenger seat. (The battery is in the driver side cubby.) Holy Zora! It's like a new Corvette (at least as far as not having a proper spare).

This is all sort of funny because RideTech only released this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in the middle of last year, and being one of the first to take the plunge, it has been a bit of a discovery process. I didn't realize the OE swaybars would not fit so had to fork out for the RideTech units. (My C3 had no factory rear swaybar anyway.)

Here is the front suspension all finished.

What else to catch up... Headers! Yeah, bit more work here. Nice plugs eh?

Kinja'd!!!

Oh, and not related to the suspension, but 700R4 transmission, and special crossmember which will clear chambered exhaust.

Kinja'd!!!

Anyway. Thanks for viewing! If you didn't read about it already, I had a lot of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to start with.

Just an idea, but maybe use the carrier as a mold for a fiberglass continental tire kit-like container that could be mounted on top of the luggage rack?

lol. The carrier is already fiberglass, it looks rusted, but it is just rotten. So that would save a step. But I'm no good with glass anyway, made a huge mess back when I worked on boats.
